Cypress Sunrise
Sunday, November 25, 2007
A thick fog bank over the city delayed my morning commute to Whistler by about an hour on Friday; once I realized a special sunrise was in the making, I made a detour up Cypress Mountain to catch the first rays emerging from behind a distant Mt Baker.
All taken with my K10D / DA 50-200.
Predawn:
Mt Baker towers over North Vancouver and the Fraser Valley:
The Lions Gate Bridge, Stanley Park, and the tops of downtown Vancouver's 20+ story buildings:

It gratifies me to see your DA 50-200 lens producing such fine images.
It's an economical lens, to be sure, but a good lens, too, I think.
I know I certainly like mine.

Roscoe
