Mammatus sunset

I made it my mission to get in some landscape photography before the month was out... the reason I haven't been posting much lately is simply because I haven't had any time to go out and shoot something (anything!) for myself. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy shooting indoor events, but at the end of the day I'm an outdoor photographer at heart...

As I headed towards the beach, I noticed that the large cumulonimbus cloud over the north shore was starting to develop a mammatus-like appearance, something I've only seen a couple times before (and never in Vancouver). Unfortunately, they dissipated before the "golden hour" hit, but the sunset didn't disappoint.
